Elvia Correa-Diaz
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Mrs. Diaz has over 35 years of Clinical experience with individuals,
couples and families, in hospitals, school settings and private practice. In her practice, Mrs. Diaz
integrates the mind, body and soul through developmental, psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral
therapy. As well as interpersonal aspects of the impact of trauma on the individual when experiencing
depression and anxiety. By accessing and processing the emotions connected to the trauma. While
developing a therapeutic connection, Mrs. Diaz believes it's important for clients to learn the tools, skills
and confidence they need to lead the lives they want. In enhancing trust, safety, self-esteem, self-
regulation, finding ways to restore meaning, hope, connection and joy. Mrs. Diaz has a Master’s Degree
in Social Work from the University of Southern California. As a bilingual, Spanish and English therapist
she has worked with Clients from many countries that are experiencing traumatic changes in their lives.
Mrs. Diaz sees clients ranging from age eighteen to the geriatric population who may be experiencing
mood disorders, bipolar, major depression, post-partum depression, panic attacks, divorce or separation
issues, parenting, grief issues, ADHD, academic concerns, domestic violence, victims of physical and
sexual abuse, gender identity issues and PTSD.
